患者专家安妮塔·哈伯德is a mother, wife and former corporate executive diagnosed with thyroid cancer on Valentine’s Day in 2013. Through the profound struggle of overcoming cancer, Anita developed a deep empathy for others facing the same challenges with thyroid cancer, inspiring her to create the Love Your Thyroid Foundation, a non-profit with the mission to raise critically needed research funds and awareness for thyroid cancer. Anita also serves as a board member of ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association, a thyroid cancer patient advocacy and support organization. When not fundraising and advocating for thyroid cancer community, Anita gratefully spends her days raising and loving her family in Texas.
